Welcome to Queen Anne’s Cafe on the Strand, based in Barnstaple, Devon. Our family-run café provides freshly prepared food, which is served all day in one of the most unique buildings in North Devon.
This iconic structure, known as Queens Anne’s Walk, consists of a Grade I-listed colonnade built in 1708 and a Grade II building which was added later. It has had many uses, including:
Now fully refurbished, we invite you to enjoy these fabulous surroundings whilst having a bite to eat or some coffee and cake.
We serve loose-leaf tea, freshly ground coffee, homemade cakes, breakfast, lunch, a local fresh fish specials board and are fully licensed. The Café offers two versatile and spacious internal dining areas, plus a large covered outdoor area under the impressive Colonnade. We also have a kids corner so you can relax whilst the littles play!
